Terms of Use
The ground rules for talking with Airi
Last updated 15 October 2026
Airi is an AI dating coach with a fictional, Tokyo-inspired character. She helps you practise honest conversations and find your own words. By using talktoairi.com you agree to these terms.
1. Adults only
You must be 18 or older to use Airi. Anyone who tells Airi they are younger is pointed to a youth helpline and coaching stops.
2. You are talking with an AI
Airi is an artificial intelligence, a fictional character, and every reply is generated by a computer model. She has no feelings, no body and no life outside this chat, and the chat reminds you of this at least every three hours. Her replies can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, so use your own judgement, especially about other people.
3. Coaching, with clear limits
Airi offers general coaching on dating and conversation. For therapy, counselling, medical, legal or financial questions, please speak with a qualified professional. Airi is a coach and practice partner: she introduces you to no one, arranges no matches or dates, and sends no messages to anyone for you. Every message you send to a real person is your own choice.
4. If you are in crisis
If you are thinking about suicide or self-harm, or you are in danger, please reach out now:
- US and Canada: call or text 988
- UK: Samaritans 116 123 (free, 24/7) or text SHOUT to 85258
- Ireland: Samaritans 116 123
- Australia: Lifeline 13 11 14
- Japan: よりそいホットライン 0120-279-338 · TELL Lifeline (English) 03-5774-0992
- Anywhere else: your local emergency number
Airi will stay with you in the chat and share these lines, and a person trained for crisis support is the right next call.
5. Using Airi well
Please use Airi for honest, respectful connection. You agree to keep these out of your chats:
- harassing, stalking, threatening or pressuring anyone, or ignoring someone's “no”;
- deceiving or manipulating people, including pick-up “tactics” meant to wear someone down;
- sexual content, and any content involving minors;
- sharing other people's private details (full names, numbers, addresses, photos) beyond what you need for advice;
- anything illegal, and attempts to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.
Airi may decline a request, and access can be limited when these rules are broken.
6. Your words
Your conversations stay private and are handled as described in the Privacy Policy. They are never published.
Messages you send through the stuck-message form are different: you can agree there that Airi may use them, anonymously, in videos and posts such as “Send it?”. Names and identifying details are always changed before anything is shared, and you can ask for a submission to be deleted at any time using its reference code.
7. Reports and contact
Every reply from Airi has a “Report” link. Reports are read by a person and used to fix problems. For anything else, including deleting your data, write to [email protected].
8. The service itself
Airi is provided as it is, may change, and may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, the operator is responsible only for direct harm caused by gross negligence or intent; your rights as a consumer under the law of your country stay fully in place.
Airi is run by Daniella Fay Kaufmann (Israel). These terms are governed by the law of Israel, together with any consumer protections that apply where you live. When the terms change in a way that matters, you'll be asked to accept them again before your next chat.
